1. Test
Technician
Qualifications:
The Test Technician must possess electrical
and mechanical aptitude and basic skills on soldering and assembling of
electro/mechanical devices. Must be proficient in the use of multi-meters
and other basic instruments as well as demonstrate proficiency in the
use of oscilloscopes. The Test Technician must be comfortable with minor
mechanical rework. Possess the ability to read, interpret blueprints,
wiring diagrams, assembly prints, schematics and parts lists. The Test
Technician must be computer literate (MS Word, Excel) and be proficient
with the use of test equipment and hand tools. Must possess the ability
to work alone and manage time with little supervision. Possess strong
verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service skills
and troubleshooting skills.
Experience:
The Test Technician must have a technology background that includes
at least 5 years experience in power electronics and a versatile hands-on
individual with good analytical skills. Experience with power in the ranges
of: 480 to 600VAC with currents over 1,000A preferred.
Education:
ASEE or ASEET degree or equivalent
Specific Responsibilities:
Perform testing and trouble-shooting of SCR Power Controllers and Industrial
Power Supplies, such as Zero Fired and Phase Fired SCR Controllers, Plasma
Power Supplies, and associated equipment
Review and recommend Test Procedure changes
Perform verification testing on PC boards and various assemblies
Provide Technical support to customers
over the phone
Quote repair work orders and spare parts orders
Any additional tasks as deemed necessary

2. Senior
Software Development Engineer
General:
The Senior Software Development Engineer is an energetic, experienced
professional who will work with members of the design and project teams
to create power supply systems and components for SCI products.
Qualifications::
The Senior Software Development Engineer must have a technology
centric background that includes significant customer interaction. A minimum
of 5 - 7 years experience as high power electronics (>10kVA) is required.
The candidate must possess experience with power electronics, analog and
digital circuits, and an understanding of UPS's, strong system knowledge
to develop new product and systems, high intellect, inquisitive personality,
leadership potential, and desire to introduce new concepts and methods
to the business are essential. The candidate must also possess strong
project management, communication, interpersonal, and team leadership
skills and ability to work closely with other team members to meet objectives
and deadlines and have familiarity of safety, UL, and IEC standards and
CE. Education: B.S.E.E., B.S.M.E. or B.S.B.A from
a recognized, fully accredited program is required, an MSEE a plus.
Responsibilities::
Interact with members of design and project team
to design electrical components and systems for AMETEK products.
Support product lines from initial concept through production.
Design and develop electronic circuits and software for designs using
microprocessors, FPGA's and analog circuits.
Prepare or direct construction and testing of prototypes or components
to evaluate design concepts.
Create design specifications and test procedures for both hardware and
software.
Contribute to technical manuals and other engineering software.
Prepare sufficient documentation to implement product designs into manufacturing
within the time budget constraints of the project, including the development
of assemblies, test procedures, Bills of Material and drawings.
Collaborate with other team members, share information and resources,
coordinate communication, and lead cross-functional teams, as needed,
to ensure overall excellent problem resolution.
Assist other internal departments (Test, Service, Sales) to ensure products
conform to customer requirements.

Assistant
Controller - SCI Business Unit
General:
We are in search of an Assistant Controller for our Columbus, Ohio facility.
This position will be responsible for financial closing, financial reporting,
general accounting, and other various accounting functions. The position
will work with the organization at all levels to gather information, produce
various reports and ensure compliance with all corporate financial reporting
requirements. Some travel will be required. This position is targeted
for rapid development within our organization and the ideal candidate
will be ready to assume the position of a Controller within 2-3 years.
Qualifications:
The Assistant Controller must possess outstanding analytical
skills, strong communication skills (both oral and written), proven problem-solving
capability and strong understanding of GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxle
Must possess a desire to rapidly advance your career into
higher business management positions, and whose past experiences will
demonstrate that potential. Receptiveness to relocation opportunities
within our corporate structure.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 5-10 years
experience in a manufacturing environment. MBA or CPA is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial
reports and statements
Assist with month, quarter, and year-end financial closings
Supervise General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Payroll and A/P positions
Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
Insure compliance with GAAP and SOX
Work closely and effectively with multiple levels of the organization

4.Business Manager - HDR
AMETEK HDR, Columbus,OH- Overall responsibility for managing full and P&L and all aspects of operations, supply chain, manufacturing, marketing, sales, R&D and engineering. Providing strategic and tactical guidance for developing and implementing strategic plan.
Min. Reqmts: MBA plus BS/BA in Electrical/Mechanical.Chemical Engineering (or equivalent), plus 8 years experience in power generation or related industry including 2-3 years at the managerial level.
